A Ferrari divulgou algumas fotos do seu novo modelo coupé-cabriolet Ferrari California. A apresentação oficial do modelo será no Salão do Automóvel de Paris, que acontece de 4 a 19 de outubro deste ano.
A nova Ferrari California apresenta algumas novidades implementadas pela montadora italiana. A principal delas é o motor 4.3 V8 de 460 cavalos de potência a 7.500 rpm que acelera de 0 a 100 km/h em quatro segundos e está localizado na parte dianteira. Outra novidade é a capota rígida, utilizada pela primeira vez em um modelo conversível da Ferrari.
Mais uma novidade implementada é o câmbio automático de sete velocidades com sistema dupla embreagem. Este tipo de embreagem, cada vez mais comum nos carros esportivos mais modernos, é capaz de engatar uma marcha e deixar a outra já preparada, possibilitando troca de marchas mais rápidas e aumentando o desempenho.
